Scope of Inspection

Home inspections performed by Metro Detroit Home Inspections are visual examinations of the accessible components of a residential property. Inspections are conducted in accordance with applicable state standards and are intended to identify visible defects, safety concerns, and maintenance issues at the time of inspection. The inspection does not cover concealed, inaccessible, or underground components.

Limitations of Inspection

An inspection is not a guarantee, warranty, or insurance policy. The inspection represents conditions visible at the time of the inspection only. Conditions may change after the inspection has been completed. Metro Detroit Home Inspections is not liable for conditions that were not visible, accessible, or apparent at the time of the inspection.

Inspection Report

Your inspection report is provided for informational purposes and is intended solely for use by the client named in the inspection agreement. The report is not transferable to other parties. Metro Detroit Home Inspections makes no warranty regarding conditions beyond those specifically noted in the report.

Payment and Scheduling

Payment for inspection services is due at the time of inspection unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. Please contact us directly to discuss your specific circumstances.

Limitation of Liability

The liability of Metro Detroit Home Inspections for any claim arising from inspection services is limited to the amount paid for the inspection. We recommend consulting with appropriate professionals, including licensed contractors, engineers, or specialists, for further evaluation of conditions identified in the inspection report.
